The Pipeline is now on Itch!


Hey everyone!

I have recently incorporated my business (it's now Michael Jared Software, so not too different... it's still me!), but now I have to do fun things like accounting and taxes. Unfortunately, Blender Market does not support tax remission, forcing my hand to move to different platforms.

The addon will still be on Gumroad.

I've got some exciting news as well just around the corner, so I will be publishing some more things on itch and Gumroad:

  • A web-based, 3D city builder game! I've been having a whole lot of fun with this project over the last week so keep your eyes peeled for the next couple weeks, as I will be releasing it for free on here
  • A detailed breakdown series including tech art, programming, work flows, game design - basically everything! I have been meticulously documenting my game development process, so I'm hoping some folks will find it helpful. You will find:
    • Tech art breakdowns, texture baking, UV unwrapping
    • Shader development
    • Multi-mesh optimizations targeted for webGL games (leading to some pretty awesome results!)
    • Vertex Animated Textures (VATs) implementation in Godot*


*I think this is the one people will find the coolest, as it's pretty novel to be used in Godot and it has some pretty amazing applications!
